Cute Sayings For Wedding Cards

"Stamps of the World"

My latest project, a series of prints called "Stamps of the World" comes with the scholarship awarded me the Oliver Foundation for a stay in the city of Rome. On my return would have to make an image as a result of my experience of life in the city. It was not easy to realize artistically all the emotions that I raised an incredible and fascinating city, full of life and history, as Rome. Frankly the work was not easy. Every day at the end of my journey to explore, discover corners of the city, headed by e-mail me with the head of the foundation. In these letters I was telling my daily journey through the city, a comment about something that had struck me greatly and a brief anecdote.
Back home, without even knowing exactly what work was going to do, turning and thinking about it, I remembered that he had sent emails to foundation, and how easy it had been written recounting my experiences, the opposite of what I found difficult to capture all my memories in a plastic creation. I had noticed a hand stamp and reflected on the "propaganda" with the stamps and how they are used as a platform to promote, disseminate ... of events, people, places ... etc. and I also wanted to use it as a commemorative support my stay in Rome, bringing together in him the sights and sensations which surprised me.
Now the series continues with a visit to other places that are joining my geography vital. As a romantic nineteenth century, I move across the English geography. My mission is to get as many notes as possible, made valiéndome my camera, which is responsible for storing each and every one of my retina images considered essential to my work. But I use plastic media are not the same as used by my predecessors. I'm using the latest technologies to carry out my work. The camera captures and stores in "his retina" all images that I suggest. In the late afternoon, the place of rest, dump all the images in the memory of my laptop. These are all my painting and drawing tools. With the mouse in my hand I manipulated the images to get the desired results.
Both studies highlight those places, places, monuments ... called my attention.

The series has been done with digital printing 76X112cm dimensions.
