Fueyo masterfully takes us to the text of Quevedo:
demoniac Quevedo Sheriff is the only discourse, which follows a line dreamless realistic or allegorical flourishes. The protagonists are three: the author, attorney and a sheriff Calabrian demon, the latter not pronounce a word, being the devil, who indoctrinated Whose voice. Thus, the minister of justice is nothing but a puppet. We are holding a conversation with the spirit of curiosity, inhabiting the author, the cynical and moral evil spirit, and appalled the cleric, hypocritical, formalist, who knows nothing about nothing but listen as master of the situation with exorcisms. Herein lies the supreme irony of the speech: the devil tells truth as fists, but what good is your truth? He himself declares, but does not do evil to men and to avoid claiming ignorance. Quevedo match and justifies it with the authority of Holy Scripture.
When the author gets the cleric to stop talking to the devil for a while without baiting, it starts a dialogue between the former and latter. The news flow of the sentences of convicts and the tone is more farcical than severe. The caricature of poets and lovers shows its absurdity, making fun of adulterers, cuckolds and lustful. Suddenly, with respect to the kings, the tone becomes more severe and vehement language: because of its "power, freedom and control", "get the services to its end." One "is convicted of cruelty" and is "crowned poison," "others are lost by greed" and other "go to hell for third people ... "
There is an identification between the sheriff and the devil. The narrative frame is simple: the presentation of setting, characters and situation occurs a series of questions, answers and considerations. The Calabrian licensed spells chokes the voice of the devil.
The punishment of the damned give rise to a long chain of errors: blind and lovers are all not crazy accompany the astrologers, murderers, doctors, merchants are with Judas, the foolish to the executioners, etc. "The officers are devils and we marshals recoletos footwear, and other events that presage the happy synthesis of mature expression.
