Secret Service U.S. (United States Secret Service) is a federal agency of the United States to impose law and is under responsibility of the Department of Homeland Security United States since 2003. Previously, its reliance was the Treasury Department.
Mission
The Secret Service has primary jurisdiction over the prevention and investigation of counterfeit U.S. money. UU., Also with protecting the President, Vice-President, President-elect, Vice-President-elect, past presidents and their families, some candidates for president and vice president within 120 days before a presidential election , children of former presidents until age 16, and foreign heads of state visiting the country. It also investigates a wide variety of crimes of financial fraud and identity theft and provides forensics assistance for some local crimes. Uniformed Division (UD) Secret Service help in the protection of foreign embassies and the White House in Washington DC. Because the necessary discretion of this organization, many details are currently unknown about the Secret Service. Like most agencies, law enforcement, the Secret Service
generally has a policy of "no comment" in their actions and investigations.

History
The Secret Service was created on July 5, 1865 in Washington, DC as the "Secret Service Division, the counterfeiting of money.
