The first things I remember from the series Twin Peaks by David Lynch and Mark Frost is a photograph of a smiling Laura Palmer, forests and waterfall, the hooting of owls, the Bob crazed look in the mirror, the seductive oblivion of Audrey, the very long cigar from his father, the sad and intriguing Josie Packard ambivalence, the mixture of disgust and fear of Leo Johnson, Bobby Brings insolence, the insipid little voice of Diane, the sad songs in the nightclub, the red fabric of the one-eyed Jack, the gray hair Mr. Palmer, the eye patch Nadine Hurley, the Freudian dream of Lieutenant Cooper and his taste for donuts, coffee and, above all, the tart cherries Double R Diner.
